Small Business Saturday UK, will take place this Saturday, 2 December. This year, Plymouth Waterfront Partnership (PWP) is hosting a special networking session for BID levy payers to enable them to connect and support each other as small business owners.
The free networking session will be held at The Ship on the Barbican from 8am to 9.30am this Saturday.

Hosting networking events such as this, and training workshops throughout the year, means we can help provide our businesses with a chance to network, provide advice and support.
Most importantly these sessions enable our levy payers and business owners to come together to celebrate the achievements of running a business but also chat with each other the challenges too in a safe and supportive environment.”
Plymouth Waterfront Partnership (PWP) is working alongside Plymouth City Council, Plymouth and Devon Chamber of Commerce and Federation of Small Businesses, to encourage everyone to ‘think local, shop local’ this Christmas, and throughout the year. Local entrepreneur Toby Gorniak MBE will be joining attendees to offer advice on his own business journey.
Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, not-for-profit campaign that is open to all UK small businesses to take part in. Originally founded by American Express in the U.S., the campaign has been running for over a decade and is the UK’s most successful small business campaign, with an impact that lasts all year round.
Over the time the campaign has been running in the UK, it has engaged millions and seen billions of pounds spent with small businesses across the UK on Small Business Saturday.
