Opportunity to be featured as a place to stop off to stay, eat and drink or take part in activities along the SW Coast Path for their Anniversary

It’s the 50th Anniversary of the charity which protects, cares for and shares the amazing health and wellbeing benefits of the South West Coast Path with millions of people every year.

To celebrate The South West Coast Path Association is urging businesses to join in the celebrations and support it in its crucial work to help future-proof the iconic 630 mile Trail for people to enjoy all year round.

The birthday year kicks off in National Walking Month (May) with a 50th Anniversary Relay Trailblazer Walk across the full 630 miles of the Path. The Walk starts at each end of the Trail and ends with a major Photographic Exhibition in Plymouth’s Royal William Yard in June. There’s also a new Podcast and a special edition of the recently launched South West Coast Path Passport (including 50 new Way Maker Passport Stamping Points).

The first 50 businesses along the Path who email waymaker@southwestcoastpath.org.uk can flag themselves as a place to stop off to stay, eat and drink or take part in activities along the Path and will receive a 50% discount on the Way Maker Plus package (worth £50). The package is free to charities and TICs.

Businesses interested in using the Trailblazer Walk as a team building/fundraising challenge or taking the opportunity to the raise/donate the £1,500 it takes to look after each mile of the Path each year should contact Sarah on business@southwestcoastpath.org.uk
