We are working in partnership with Plymouth City Council to offer you and your staff a free training course in how best to provide CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and use the new lifesaving AED defibrillator equipment, which Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Waterfront Partnership and Wave After Wave have installed across the Waterfront and which is available to the public 24/7.
The nationally recognised AED course will be run by The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS) which is a governing body for lifesaving. The course lasts 4 hours in total.
Each candidate will receive a certificate confirming their knowledge and ability to carry out CPR in conjunction with an AED unit (Defib) when they have shown their ability to an acceptable standard, valid for two years.
The course details are as follows:
Date: Tuesday 21 September 2021
Location: The Waterfront Pub, The Hoe, Plymouth, PL1 3DQ.
Times:
9am – 1pm (1st course) 24 spaces
1:30pm – 5:30pm (2nd course) 24 spaces

Please note deadline for return of completed enrolment forms: 10 September 2021. Please complete one form for each member of staff.

The Council, PWP and Wave After Wave have recently installed five new defibs across Plymouth Waterfront at:
Commercial Wharf, Barbican
Terrace Café, The Hoe
Coffee Shack, West Hoe
Waterfront Pub, West Hoe
Firestone Bay, Public Toilets
This is an addition to the four other public defibs on the Waterfront, located at Yacht Haven, Mount Batten Watersports Centre, Liner Lookout (The Hoe) and at Royal William Yard.
