Message from our CEO, Jon Walton :
” I would like to let you know that I will be leaving my position as CEO for the Plymouth Waterfront Partnership on 21st June 2025. I have really enjoyed working with you all over the last three years and would hope that you can see we have made real progress in ensuring the entire waterfront and the city of Plymouth prosper in challenging times. We have made huge strides in our events programme, ensuring benefits for as many areas as we can. Together with this we have expanded our lighting scheme, taking in new areas, but with no increase to our budget.
With a supportive board and advisory panel, and my wonderful colleague Kim Downer, we are really delivering on our business plan commitments that you voted for . We really take pride in being out and about across the waterfront, speaking to as many of you as we can. Our levy payer workshops are becoming much more popular and please try to make the next one which is scheduled for June-date and location TBC.
This decision was incredibly difficult, but it is the correct one for me at this time. I would like to think PWP and Plymouth is in a really good place, and I wish every one of you all the very best for the future. I will miss Britain’s Ocean City and its fantastic people.
