As a cracking Easter weekend of fun family activities approaches, local transport businesses are offering a range of discounts to encourage everyone to ‘hop on board’ a boat or bus to access the waterfront.
As part of a trial scheme, on Saturday (30th March) a new ferry route between Saltash and the Royal William Yard will be in operation. Trips will run 10am-4pm and offered on a first come first served basis. These trips will be free as part of this trial and operated by Plymouth Boat Trips.
Plymouth Citybus will also be offering families heading to the now sold-out Brainiac event at Royal William Yard a discounted family bus ticket of £5 for the whole weekend when they ‘hop on-board’. The family ticket offer is also available for unlimited travel in selected zone(s) around the city.

Plymouth Waterfront Partnership (PWP) are delighted to be bringing Brainiac Live to Plymouth this Easter Weekend with support from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. PWP will be donating 50% of ticket sales from the event to local charity Jeremiah’s Journey.
Whilst this event is now sold out, a small number of tickets may be released for re-sale on any of the four days – please keep checking the PWP social media channels for updates.
