Plymouth Best Bar None is offering TWO Free training sessions next week for all BBN/ pubwatch member staff.
MONDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 2024 IN PERSON
Communication and Conflict Management training will be delivered in person on Monday 9th September 2024 5pm to 7pm in the Plymouth University Levinski Hall lecture hall. The training is free.
Who is it for?
This in person and is aimed at doorstaff, ENTE managers/ supervisors and those who may feel that they or their staff would benefit from such an input.
About the training:
The Communication and Conflict Management training has been designed to help those working in the night-time economy to evaluate a situation and look at some of the tools which can be used to prevent an escalation in confrontational situations. In addition it will cover how to legally apply the correct level of force when it is required.
The training covers a number of the theoretical aspects of Communication and Conflict Management which the police are taught in order to make sure that those members of the ENTE staff who have to use force, do so in line with the levels which the police are taught to use. This helps ENTE staff to protect themselves lawfully and support the police in their work.

THURSDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER ONLINE
FREE online vulnerability training on Thursday 12th September between 1700-1900.
Who is it for?
The online training is aimed at all venue staff including door staff.
This online session will cover:
- WAVE Vulnerability Training
- Ask for Angela
- Drink Spiking awareness training
- Vigilant/Nighteye awareness
