A Green Badge Guide course centred on Plymouth is starting this Spring and is now open to applications.
The Plymouth Green Badge forms a module of the Devon and Cornwall Blue Badge course but is also a stand-alone qualification. The course concentrates on communication skills, walking and site tours, tour planning and some business skills.
For those choosing to extend the qualification towards a Devon and Cornwall Blue Badge this will be possible as a follow on in 2025.
Structured to be flexible enough for study alongside other work, the Green Badge course commences with an ‘Introductory Day’ in March.
Following this there will be guided self-study, work shadowing, visits, and online lectures prior to 4 weekends of practical training between October 2024 and January 2025.
Examinations will take in early 2025.
