Sky Cole, Business Liaison Manager for PWP who has been with the BID since December 2014, will be leaving in May to take on a new exciting role at Stratforward BID in Stratford-upon-Avon.
For the past seven and a half years, Sky has worked incredibly hard to support, market and improve communications with Waterfront businesses, and played a key role in the two Waterfront BID renewals in 2017 and 2022. She has also taken a leading role in facilitating the BID’s major events including Plymouth Pirates Weekend, Plymouth Seafood & Harbour Festival and the Barbican Christmas Lights Switch-On.
Nick Buckland OBE, Chair of PWP, said “We are very sorry to be losing Sky from our team, I will personally miss her ‘can do’ attitude and always getting things done with a smile; Plymouth’s loss is very much Stratford-upon-Avon’s gain. I wish her the very best of luck for the future.”
Jon Walton, PWP’s new Chief Executive and BID Manager, who is due to join the BID on 20th June said: “I’m disappointed to be losing Sky before I’ve started, I was looking forward to working with her, but recognise this is a real opportunity for her to make her mark with another BID. I know she will be missed by all our stakeholders and partners and wish her well for the future.”
Sky’s last day with PWP will be Sunday 8th May and recruitment will be underway soon for her replacement.
