Calling all businesses! Its time to get ready for Britain in Bloom 2024!
Once again, we are starting to prepare our baskets, borders, boats and boxes ready for this year’s Britian in Bloom competition, because we know how important it is to make our places inviting not only to welcome our visitors, but to make our communities and areas a place we can enjoy, whilst also giving nature a little helping hand!
We want you to get involved this year so we can create a trail of colour right across our waterfront…and beyond!
You don’t need to spend much to make an impact, it could be a hanging basket, window box, or just cut the grass and display a pot with begonias or petunias, which last for ages!
PWP BID teams up with Plymouth Garden Centre for a 10% BID area discount off outdoor plants!
We have exciting news to share! Plymouth Waterfront Partnership have teamed up with Plymouth Garden Centre in Crownhill who will be providing all the planting for our PWP boats and borders – including Millbay and West Hoe Park! We are delighted to be working with their team of gardening experts to help us create a blooming difference to our amazing waterfront area!
Also, they’ve kindly agreed to offer any business in our BID area a 10% discount off outdoor plants (excluding sale and multi-buys) running from 1st May till the 31st May. Just present this barcode at the tills to get your discount.

Our friends at BIB have kindly agreed to extend the deadline for us till Friday 19th April.
Judging will take place at the end of July.
We are also appealing to schools and volunteer groups to give us a helping hand planting and caring for our locations, so please get in touch if you would like to be involved.
