The Op shop has been set up as a pay what you can spare with a variety of kindly donated goods, including clothes, gifts and even a community larder.
Started by Cindy in 2014, Arterne aims to help bridge the gap in social care service provision for anyone needing to access help with mental health, food poverty or other personal needs.
A safe space, with no waiting lists and forms to fill, where you can come as you are, have a friendly chat or be a listening ear.
The space operates thanks to the generosity of the local business community and public, with meaningful partnerships that make a real difference already in place and new helping hands always welcome.
Together with fellow Waterfront businesses The Hook and Line and Suphas. Arterne run Operation Snow #notjustforchristmas project, which helps provide and deliver fresh, nutritious meals for vulnerable individuals and families.
Arterne can also help businesses by providing workplace training on a variety of topics. Please be sure to give them a follow and reach out with any enquiries you may have.
