Waterfront BID1 came to an end on 31st March 2017. With delivery at 94% of our first forty-two project Waterfront Business Plan, we are extremely proud of what we’ve achieved together. We then proposed the creation of Waterfront BID2 to build on these significant achievements.

Following consultation with Waterfront businesses during 2016, we listened and we learned.

Responding to Waterfront businesses we identified twelve more projects that we believed would truly unite the Waterfront business community with the City Centre and maximise the opportunity that Mayflower 400 presents. We then created our DRAFT Business Plan for a renewed BID: Waterfront BID2 (2017-2022) and put this to you for consultation.​

Taking into consideration all feedback received on the DRAFT Business Plan, we’ve created the FINAL Plymouth Waterfront BID2 Business Plan, which was circulated to all Waterfront businesses along with Ballot papers at the end of January 2017. Throughout  February, Waterfront business had twenty eight days to vote either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to a further five year Plymouth Waterfront BID. Members used their vote to have their say and ballot papers were returned by 28 February 2017.
