Plymouth Waterfront Partnership is proud to mark this Saturday’s Small Business Saturday national campaign with a renewed call to ALL to support our local businesses. As part of this year’s campaign, Plymouth Waterfront Partnership is further promoting the newly launched Love Plymouth Gift Card.
Now accepted by an expanding network of businesses across the Plymouth waterfront and city centre, the Love Plymouth Gift Card helps keep money circulating locally, directly benefitting independent traders at a crucial time of year.
Kim Downer, Deputy CEO, Plymouth Waterfront Partnership:
“The Love Plymouth Gift Card makes it easier than ever to choose local—whether you’re buying a gift, rewarding staff, or simply exploring the best of Britain’s Ocean City.”
The Love Plymouth Gift Card is available as a physical card or a digital card that can be uploaded to digital wallets. Around 100 local businesses have already signed up to accept the card, with more coming on board every week. Along with Plymouth Waterfront Partnership, the City Centre Company are also supporting the Love Plymouth Gift Card initiative.
Small Business Saturday is a nationwide celebration of small, independent businesses.
Last month, Plymouth welcomed back the Small Business Saturday UK Tour ahead of the national day this Saturday (6th December). The Small Business Saturday team visited a variety of local businesses including Knead Pizza, Salt and Pepper Kitchen and Nala’s Pet Co.
Plymouth Waterfront Partnership is encouraging everyone to explore the incredible variety of local businesses from cafes and restaurants to art galleries and bespoke jewellery and gift shops this festive season and beyond.
